It's Been a While

So I have been lazy!!! Time has really been flying.We have been busy with the grand kids(baseball,socccar,and softball).
You know, me and the wife are a soft touch for the g-kids.

The last few weeks have been fun,with the kids and our friends.
We love this time of year.The weather is great--for the first time that I can remember,we have even had a proper spring.Spring in Texas is  about two hours long.This year it has been 3 weeks and just now begain to get hot.( except for the fact I have to mow every 5 days,it would be great).

We are planning a trip to Lake Powell, in Arizona,In July,for a week.We will be on a house boat ,with my brother and his wife along with my sister and her boy friend.

If they don't kill me,it will be fun.

Update---The weight loss is still going well.Slow,but steady.Down 63bs.Just 26 more to go!Still trying to go to the gym three times a week.The last three months I have lost 15lbs.My numbers are still comming down.Sondi may have to put up with me a few more years.

Twin Brother

Here I am in all my glory.

For years I have told all may friends that I have a twin.His name is Russ.

People are amazed that we do not look alike.I am the better looking one,in the top pic.

We have different mothers and he is 5yrs older. But to me,we are twins at heart.

Stink

I noticed one day I was stinking.Not just your regular smell.This was some major stink.Not just a small smell,it smelled like a dead cat.
Working in the meat dept.I have run across some bad smells(nothing is as bad as a bad chicken).
This made me think maybe dogs and cats were following me.
Was I having a bad chili reaction--no.
Did I have a bad case of swap ass--no.
Had I stepped in dog shit--no.
After showering twice a day---
It was the damn soap.A reaction to Irish Spring.
After a shower with this crap,within an hour I smelled like a dead fish dipped in cat crap.I later found out that my brother has the same problem with Irish Spring.
I have now a large supply of Dial.Old soap for a old man.
Now smelling good again.

Crap shooters

My sister ,Debbie,and my other sisters have my humor-rude ,crude,silly,childish,and even profane. At the cook out for sister from Utah,she gave me a box of crap shooters.Just imagine what it could be.

A whole box of foam turds..Yep that's right turds-brown bombs-poop-dookie. They even a rubber band attached so you can shoot them across the room.

Flying dookie.What else can a real man expect from his sister? Lord knows that I am so proud of her. The grand daughter spent the night shooting dookie all over the den.

Cook out

Rug rats every are where

This is my kids and some of my neices and their husbands.

We had a cook out for my sister (Becki) and her boyfriend (Riki).
We had a small turnout,about 31 showed up. I fixed 30 burgers,30+ dogs,and about 5lb. of smoked sausage.No one died from the food. All of the kids had fun and played for hours out side, even though it was 95f,a few tears but no blood. Every one brought chips,water,and buns.

We had a great time and the fellow ship was great.

Life is good when you have a good family,mine is the best,we love them all.

Redneck Family

My wife is at the hospital waiting for sister to have her first baby.If you have a Big Chief tablet and a big pencil,I will try and explain my family to you.
My mom and dad divorced when I was a kid.
Mom married Jim. Jim is stepdad
Dad married Dean. Dean is step- mom.
I moved in with mom and step- dad.I now a step-brother--Randy
I meet Randy's sister a few year later--Sondra-not Sandra. She tells her next door neighbor that she is going to marry me.After one meeting(I did not know what was going on).We married after I got out of high school. It worked ,we have been married 40 yrs.
My step -dad is know my father-in-law.
My step- brother is now brother -in-law.
Sondi's mother's sister dies. She marries her brother-in-law(Paul) .-Sondi's uncle is now her step- dad.Her step- dad/uncle is now my father-in-law #2.
Before mom and dad divorced I had a brother (Russ) and sister ( Becki).
Dean has two girls (Debbie and Vickie).I now have two stepsisters.(dam'n I getting a head ache).Dad and Dean have girl(Tammy who now is having a baby). I now have a half sister.
Our kids still have hard time figuring out who is what.
They have 3 grand mothers-3 grand dads.
When we get together (40+ people ),my kids and us don't know who the hell we are related to.
A long with my sisters 642 ex husbands and my brothers ex wifes,it is a mess.
