My grandson,Nolan,just turned 14 a couple of weeks ago.He is a small boy(6ft and a size 14 shoe).He called last week and ask if I would take him shooting.His Mom and I go every once in a while.
So we went and I gave him a quick lesson on gun operation and mostly gun safety.He actually listened .I know it shocked me too.
This is his first set of shots--not bad!
My daughter has turned out be a great shot.Men,she shoots the nuts out first! Ouch!
Out of a box of shells,50,he hit the target,in the kill zone 90% of the time.We had a good time.
He keeps is target on his wall and take every one that visits the house to show off.
It took 2 days to get the grin off his face.

He had such a great time and hasnt stopped talking about it. He is already asking to go again. I am so proud...... =)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great bonding time for both of you. Money can't buy the memories he'll have forever. By the way, I'd keep Sondi away from the shooting range if I were you..... At least until you stop suffering from "foot in the mouth syndrome"!
